Buttons - Brief Developments

 My original idea for the main buttons was these bright coloured circles with basic icons in the middle that would be white. And that when on a certain page the button would become inverse and become of the pages splat in that pages respective colour. Like planned in my prototypes my buttons were red - Home, yellow - Power, green - Profile and blue - Peers.

But after our lecturer talked about the icons and imagery we were using for our buttons I decided to see if I could develop those ideas further. I took away the outlines made the background grey and gave the images the colour instead. And instead of inverting the colours I gave page button a white background and a grey icon.

I like this one allot more. it seems more aesthetically pleasing and somehow more sophisticated.
