My User-Centred Approach - a few changes in colour

This Idea I'd previously decided was aimed at flatting University students wanting to save power and finding a fun easy way to monitor, compete and in the end save power. I think that most of my idea is user appropriate in terms of content and interaction, but as my tutor pointed out, my colour scheme leans towards younger children with all the bright colours. my tutor suggested using colours that were a bit more user appropriate to teenagers and students. I have an idea of going towards almost navy colours, like navy green and blue, maybe maroon and possibly a darker yellow, border-lining orange. Although possibly i'll head away from these colours altogether and look more at some more modernised colours.
