Today in studio I talked to Angela the 112 course co-ordinator as my tutor Helen was away, and it turned out she had a lot to say about the colours and the graphics. Even after dimming down my colours I was told that they were still too bright (including that of the buttons), she said the eye was distracted by all the colour and that she didn't know where to look. she also made comments on my font, saying that it needs to be more sophisticated if its aimed at uni students, as currently my font is rather bubbly and fun. She also said that my graphics are to basic in terms of my smiley's and that they are also too bright.
After this I was a little annoyed as my whole Idea from the very start was to have this bright and colourful interface that would be fun not necessarily sophisticated even though the target was uni students.
