Now that I have the basic page layouts and buttons with the basic animations all in working order (excluding the Splatt page which is still in progress), I decided to get a few people to see if the could find their way through.
First I asked my girlfriend Brooke to see if she could navigate the pages. She managed to find her through all the main pages, finding the buttons wasn't an issue (except the ones that don't yet work). She did struggle to find the invisible buttons for the slider but im thinking that doesnt matter too much as the application is touch phone based, and the notion of sliding becomes more obvious. This is similar to my friend James who trialled it out, easy navigation except for slider.
I also asked my design design classmates Joe and Kat to test it out, they easily found their way through, but that might be because they watched me trial it plenty of times.
All found the visuals good I think, except for some of the more tacky pop ups which I was told didn't fit in with the rest of the aesthetics.
